Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley (320 km

Early morning departure from Marrakech toward southern Morocco. After breakfast, we cross the High Atlas Mountains via the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m), with panoramic stops overlooking Berber villages and terraced farmlands.

Visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and filming location for movies and series such as Gladiator and Game of Thrones.

Continue to Ouarzazate, known as the gateway to the desert and Morocco’s film capital. Short stop to visit the Atlas Film Studios or the historic Taourirt Kasbah.

In the afternoon, travel through the Valley of Roses, passing Skoura and Kelaat M’Gouna, before reaching the scenic Dades Valley.

Enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner featuring local specialties such as lamb tagine with prunes or vegetable couscous, served with refreshing mint tea.

Wake up to beautiful valley views and enjoy breakfast. Depart toward the impressive Todra Gorges, a dramatic canyon with rock walls rising over 300 meters — a favorite spot for photographers and climbers.

After a short walk, continue through Tinjdad and Erfoud, a town famous for fossils and date palms. Arrive in Merzouga, where camels await to take you deep into the Erg Chebbi dunes.

Enjoy a magical camel trek at sunset, one of the highlights of the Moroccan Sahara.

In the evening, savor a Berber dinner in the desert, served under the stars with traditional music, drums, and dancing around the campfire. Typical dishes include harira soup, chicken tagine with preserved lemon, and fresh oasis fruits.

Return by camel to the village of Merzouga and have breakfast.
Departure towards Ouarzazate crossing the Draa Valley, the longest in Morocco, with its endless palm groves and adobe kasbahs. Stops in traditional villages like Nkob and Agdz, where you can observe rural Berber life.
Arrive in Ouarzazate in the afternoon.
Moroccan dinner at the hotel, with local specialties such as oven-roasted lamb, Moroccan salads, and traditional desserts.
